GTA 6 Cyberleek leak: 25 minutes of footage and a full game threat
The GTA 6 leaker Cyberleek posted about 25 minutes of alleged gameplay on October 8, then threatened to release the full story mode. Nothing is verified, and GTA 6 still launches November 19, 2026.

A leaker called Cyberleek posted a video of about 25 minutes of alleged GTA 6 gameplay on October 8, 2026. The video is titled "An Extended Leek", a joke on Rockstar's official "Extended Look" preview.
Two days later, on October 10, the leaker posted a message on their website. It claims they have the full story mode and threatens to release a playable build before launch.
Neither Rockstar Games nor Take-Two Interactive has confirmed that the footage is real. We don't share or link to the leaked video, and every picture on this page is official Rockstar art.
What the leaked video reportedly shows
The video was shared as a ZIP file. Outlets that watched it, including Dexerto, report the following:
- Cutscenes and gameplay with Jason and Lucia, the two lead characters.
- A motorcycle race, off-road races and circuit races.
- First-person driving and car customization.
- Spoilers and some scenes with nudity.
- A tank spawned out of nowhere, which points to a debug menu and an unfinished development build.
Because it may come from an older build, the final game can look and play differently. Reports also don't agree on the file size or the exact length, which is another reason to treat the details with care.

The threat to release the full game
In the October 10 message, Cyberleek says they will release the full story mode if their crypto token reaches a market cap of $30 million. The message says Take-Two can stop this by releasing GTA 6 on physical discs and making a public apology.
There is no deadline and no proof that the leaker has a complete, playable build. The token was reported at a market cap of around $3 million to $6 million after the message, far from the target. Many observers think the threat is mostly meant to push up the token's price.
What Rockstar and Take-Two have said
Rockstar has not commented on the new video. When the first leaks appeared in August 2026, the studio called them heartbreaking and asked players to wait for the real game.
Take-Two has gone to court since then to find out who is behind the leaks. A court in New York allowed it to ask Discord for records, and it has also asked Microsoft and an X account for information. The leaker's identity is still unknown.

Does the leak change the release date?
No. GTA 6 still comes out on November 19, 2026, on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Digital pre-orders can preload from November 12. The release date page has a countdown to launch in your time zone.
How to avoid spoilers and scams
- Mute words like "GTA 6", "Cyberleek" and "leak" on social media until launch.
- Don't download files that claim to be the leaked video or a GTA 6 build. Copies passed around online can contain malware.
- Ignore anyone selling early access or a GTA 6 download. The game isn't out until November 19.
- Don't buy a token because of leak news. Its price is tied to hype, not to the game.
We will update this post if Rockstar or Take-Two responds. Until launch, the GTA 6 cheats list shows GTA V codes as a preview, and no GTA 6 cheats are confirmed yet.
